⚠️ About this page
This roadmap describes product intentions, not contractual commitments. Items not yet marked as available have no guaranteed delivery date and may be changed, postponed or cancelled at any time — including because of changes to WhatsApp, the extension stores or the AI providers, none of which we control. Nothing on this page forms part of the contract or constitutes an offer: what governs your subscription is our Terms of Use and the Plans page.

Illustrated install guide
A step-by-step, illustrated guide to install, pin and activate ZapVox in under a minute — no technical skills needed. See the guide →
Message scheduling v3 (v3.9.22)
Send messages at the scheduled time, with the recipient locked in when you create the schedule. A new engine based on WhatsApp's official link opens the correct chat and pre-fills the text — far more reliable. Opt-in, with safety limits to protect your number. Available for individual chats only (groups are not supported).
Automatic daily digest (Pro, v3.9.13)
Every evening, at the time you choose, the AI gathers all the voice messages you received and delivers a single summary — as a notification and inside the ZapVox panel. No need to open chat after chat.
Search your voice messages (v3.9.12)
Find anything that was ever said: search by keyword in the side panel and locate the audio (and the exact excerpt) instantly. Case and accent-insensitive. The search runs in your browser: your query never leaves it (the transcriptions themselves are done by cloud AI). Ctrl+F for your voice.
Custom glossary v2 (Pro)
Teach the AI the terms of your daily routine — medication names, legal jargon, proper nouns. In v2, besides guiding the AI, an automatic post-correction step guarantees the exact spelling of your terms in the final text. Saved to your account.
Time-saved counter (v3.9.9)
See how many minutes of audio you didn't have to listen to since installing. The counter lives in the ZapVox panel. Spoiler: it feels great.
Referral program
Invite friends with your personal link and you both get +7 days of Pro for free. Available in the extension panel.
Blog with tips and SEO
Articles that teach you how to transcribe, translate and summarize voice messages — and help you find ZapVox on Google. New content shipping frequently.
Automatic voice message transcription
Transcribes every WhatsApp Web voice message automatically, in 99+ languages, with automatic language detection (SmartLang).
AI summary and topics
Automatic summaries of long conversations and structured topic extraction. Perfect for busy groups.
Message translation
Automatic translation into the language of your choice. 99+ languages supported via cloud AI.
Personal reminders with inline bell (v3.6)
A 🔔 bell next to each voice message creates a linked reminder ("listen to Dr. Costa's audio at 3pm"). There's also a bell next to the microphone for chat-level reminders. Quick shortcuts: +15min, +1h, +3h, Tomorrow 9am.
Privacy Mode — blur names and messages (v3.6)
Blurs contacts, photos and messages with individual hover-reveal. The active chat stays readable. Customizable Ctrl+Shift+0 shortcut. Perfect for presentations and open spaces.
Screen Lock with local PIN (v3.6)
PBKDF2-SHA256 protection (100k iterations) with random salt. Auto-lock on inactivity (5/15/30min). Exponential throttle after 3 wrong attempts. Your PIN never leaves your computer.
Sentiment analysis on voice messages
Identifies tone (positive, negative, neutral), emotion and confidence level. Useful for customer support, sales and CRM.
BYOK — Bring Your Own Key
Connect your Groq or OpenAI API key and use the AI features — transcription, translation, summary, topics and sentiment — on your own key's quota. On a paid plan it takes over automatically at 90% of the day's usage. Local AES-256-GCM encryption.
Export the chat's transcriptions
Download the open chat's transcriptions as TXT, with date and sender, to archive or attach wherever you need. Always triggered by you, never automatic — from the button in the panel or with Ctrl+Shift+E. Available on Trial and Pro. The PDF version is still planned.
Multi-language support
Interface in 9 languages: Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese and Arabic. Transcription and translation in 99+ languages.
Microsoft Edge release
ZapVox is also published on the Microsoft Edge Add-ons store — the same app, one more place to install it.

Guided tutorial inside WhatsApp
A step-by-step guide that appears the first time you use each feature — right when the question comes up, not as a long tour on day one. Every track ends with safe-usage guidance: how WhatsApp judges behaviour and what to do so your number is never at risk. Short, dismisses itself and never repeats.
Punctuation and paragraphs in transcriptions
A wall of text is tiring to read. We're improving punctuation, paragraph breaks and the handling of proper names so the transcription arrives ready to copy and use.
Reminders with audio
Beyond text reminders, the ability to attach an audio clip — your own voice note playing back to you at the scheduled time. It stays a personal reminder: nothing is sent to anyone else automatically.
Social media and demo videos
Reels, TikTok and YouTube showing audio turning into text in 1 click. Short-form content to reach more people.
INLINE translation overlay
Shows the translation right below the original bubble (inline), not in a separate card. Visibly superior UX — the only product in the market doing it this way.
Confidence highlighting
Words transcribed with low confidence get highlighted in yellow — makes it easy to review technical terms and proper nouns. UNIQUE in the market.
Chrome "Enhanced Safe Browsing" badge
Earning Chrome's trust badge for ZapVox. Requires developer identity verification (already submitted), organic install volume, positive reviews and a clean track record on the Chrome Web Store. Estimate: 2-4 months post-launch.

💡 On the radar
Exploring feasibility
Reminder formats and personal sequences
Ready-made reminder templates (follow up a contact, chase a reply, review a proposal) and the option to chain a few of them across days. Under study — and always in the "remind you" format, never automated bulk sending to other people.
Your own recorded audio in a scheduled message
Record an audio clip now and leave it ready for a scheduled send of your own. Under study, with one rule that will not change: no faking a live recording and no bulk sending — you are the sender, one recipient at a time.
External CRM integrations
Sync with HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce and other popular sales tools.
Developer API
Programmatic access to ZapVox features. Webhooks, integrations via n8n, Make and Zapier.
Teams edition
Centralized license management, shared templates, per-member usage dashboard and SSO.
WhatsApp welcome message
An official ZapVox number that sends a welcome message to new users — showing the power of the tool in practice, with first-steps tips.
Multiple browsers on the same account (team plans)
Today it is 1 active browser at a time — you can switch between computers and devices freely, just not use them simultaneously. In the future, special plans allowing more than one simultaneous browser/device on the same account, designed for companies and teams. Need this already? Talk to us at [email protected].
