ZapVox is a Chrome/Edge extension that detects voice messages on WhatsApp Web and transcribes them with advanced AI. The transcription appears directly in your conversation — no other app needed.

Yes, the Free plan is free forever — no credit card, no expiry, no catch. On Free you get 10 cloud transcriptions per day (up to 15 min of audio/day), plus unlimited transcription with your own API key (BYOK). Summaries and topics are not included in Free.

Free transcriptions carry the 🎙️ ZapVox watermark when copying and on AutoSend.

On your first sign-in you automatically get a 7-day trial with full access — no card required. After the 7 days you simply go back to Free. For much higher limits (150 operations/day per feature and up to 150 min of audio/day, fair use), subscribe to Pro (R$29.90/mo, ~US$5.50).

Transcription: your audio is processed on the fly and never stored. If you set up your own key (BYOK) or subscribe to Pro, the extension may use external APIs — in that case the audio is sent over encrypted HTTPS and is not retained by any provider.

Translation, summaries and topics: these features use cloud AI APIs (over HTTPS), since they require larger language models. The text is processed and discarded — never stored.

On no plan do we store the content of your audios or conversations. LGPD (Brazilian GDPR) compliant.

It currently works on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge (both Chromium-based). Firefox support is on the roadmap.

Yes, anytime. To cancel your subscription, email [email protected]. The Pro plan renews automatically — you can cancel before the next cycle with no fees.

Refund policy:
• Pro Monthly: prorated refund for the unused days of the current period.
• Pro Annual / Biannual: full refund if you cancel within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, no refund.

Cancellations are processed within 24h of your email.

BYOK means "Bring Your Own Key". If you already have an API key from a compatible AI service, you can connect it directly to ZapVox.

On the Free plan, BYOK unlocks automatic translation — the watermark stays on and summaries/topics remain locked.
On the Pro plan, BYOK works for every feature.

Security: your key is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and stored only in your browser. ZapVox never sees, stores or transmits your key.

The Auto Sender is a Pro feature that sends the transcription (and/or translation) back to the WhatsApp chat automatically, as soon as the audio is transcribed. You choose what to send — just the transcription, just the translation, or both — and ZapVox does the rest. Ideal for documenting conversations or replying without typing.

The AI transcription automatically recognizes more than 99 languages — including English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Hindi and Arabic.

On the Free plan, transcription runs in your main language. Automatic translation is available into any language on Trial and Pro. The interface is available in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Yes, it works in groups normally — including on the Free plan. In groups, the transcription appears for you, and the 🎙️ zapvoxia.com.br watermark is visible to all participants when copying or on AutoSend. It's a great way to spread ZapVox organically.

With Trial you get 15 cloud operations/day and up to 30 min of audio/day. With Pro it goes up to 150 cloud operations/day and up to 150 min of audio/day (fair use). Only Pro can remove the watermark. BYOK is unlimited on any plan.

Transcribing, translating and summarizing audios sends nothing through WhatsApp — ZapVox only reads the audio already on your screen and shows you the text. That usage has nothing to do with account bans.

The only feature that sends messages is scheduling (optional and off by default). It uses WhatsApp Web itself, as if you were typing — no unofficial API. Even so, sending many messages in a short time is something Meta can penalize in any tool. That's why ZapVox ships with safety limits (max per hour/day, minimum interval and time window) to protect your account. Use common sense: Meta always has the final say on bans.

Yes. ZapVox works on WhatsApp Web for both personal and WhatsApp Business accounts, with no extra setup — just open web.whatsapp.com as usual.

To transcribe, yes — ZapVox works inside the WhatsApp Web tab, so it needs to be open in Chrome or Edge (it can stay in the background). It doesn't run with WhatsApp closed or from your phone only.

For reminders and scheduled messages, ZapVox reopens the tab on its own at the right time when needed.
