- Cascading ⚙️ panel, redesigned — four blocks in the order things happen to an audio: transcribe → translate → after transcribing → send. On/off became pills (Default · On · Off), with the default state written on them. The panel shows only what makes sense: with auto-transcribe off there, the rest disappears (manual clicks follow the general Settings); with translation off, "Translate to" and the send options with translation disappear; without a summary in "After transcribing" (new per chat: nothing, summary or sentiment), the options with summary disappear; with neither translation nor summary, the "What to send" question doesn't even show — only what was produced gets sent. And "off here" is final: in a chat with translation off, its automatic send carries no translation, even if the general default does. In groups, "Default" already reflects the group rules; a green dot marks each field that differs from the default.
- Master switch and reset button — in ZapVox Settings, "Per-chat settings" turns the ⚙️ on or off at once, shows how many chats have their own settings and offers "Apply the default to all chats", with a warning before deleting.
- Automatic send with summary — the send content gained "Transcription + Summary" and "Transcription + Summary + Translation"; choosing to send the summary already requests it, nothing else to switch on.
- Notes: Enter on a task creates the next one — in the note's ☐ task list, Enter opens the next task below; Enter on an empty task closes the list.
- Updated? The old version steps aside on its own — when the extension is updated with WhatsApp open, the old copy left in the tab stops everything it was doing (scans, observers, timers), removes its buttons from the screen and leaves only the notice to reload the page. - Security review of integrations — we audited every access key ZapVox uses, checking one by one whether it responds and sits where it should. That check is now run periodically.
- Head-to-head testing before we swap any AI engine — before reaching production, a model is tested against the one already in place, on the same texts and the same criteria. The swap only happens if the new one ties or wins.
